About the Role

Synapse Studios is a custom product development consultancy delivering high impact AI transformation engagements for clients across all industries.

As we expand our AI platform and client AI transformation work, we are seeking an AI Product Manager to join our team. You will lead client engagements end-to-end while partnering with our engineering team to shape the AI platform itself.

This role is roughly 70–80% client AI engagements and 20–30% platform product development, bringing insights from real deployments back into the evolution of our platform.

You will be hands-on and own client relationships at the executive level, design and run AI Enablement workshops, identify high-value automation opportunities, and build and manage AI agents for clients using our proprietary tools and platform.

On the platform side, you will bring field insights back to the product and help us build, scale, and optimize tools that make AI accessible to every organization we work with. As a hands-on IC, you will also strategize and inform the roadmap in alignment with customer needs and future AI capabilities, aiming for long-term client value.

This is a senior individual contributor role with a clear path to helping lead the evolution of our AI platform as our customer base grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Client AI Engagements:
    • Own new client engagements from onboarding through delivery and expansion, managing multiple active clients simultaneously
    • Work directly with C-suite and executive leadership teams as their AI strategy and product partner, embedding directly into their workflows and learning their daily operations
    • Design and facilitate live collaborative workshops to identify, prioritize, and roadmap AI automation opportunities with real end users and stakeholders
    • Conduct deep-dive process discovery, breaking down complex workflows into discrete, measurable, automatable tasks
    • Build client ROI calculators and outcome-based automation roadmaps that support expansion and platform subscription conversations
    • Build and manage AI agents for clients using our in-house tools through prompt-based and no-code approaches
    • Run live AI agent demos and prototypes in client workshops to demonstrate platform capabilities and ensure quality and governance
    • Iterate on clients' agent performance based on usage data and client feedback
    • Ensure client automations are high-value, well-adopted, and generating measurable ROI by providing regular ROI reports
  • Shape the AI Platform:
    • Partner with engineering to design and validate new platform features based on client field observations
    • Write clear product requirements, prototypes, and user stories to support efficient engineering delivery
    • Bring a continuous stream of high-quality product insights from the front lines back to the product team
    • Participate in planning, prototyping, design, and testing of platform capabilities before they reach clients
    • Drive the platform product roadmap, validate it with customers, and experiment with and prototype new solutions while supporting go-to-market planning
    • Automate and streamline processes and workflows for the platform team, clients, and Synapse

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, technical consulting, or building software products
  • Strong written communication and structured thinking: you can turn messy problems into clear decisions, frameworks, and plans
  • This is a nontechnical role but is well suited for a strong PM or someone with a technical PM background; you know how to define success, run discovery, and ship fast
  • Direct client-facing experience with executive or C-suite stakeholders, comfortable presenting, facilitating, and building trusted working relationships
  • Genuine AI tool fluency: you actively use AI in your work and have a real point of view on where it creates value
  • Workshop or group facilitation skills: you can design and run structured, high-energy working sessions that produce real outcomes (and enjoy doing so)
  • Process mapping and discovery skills: you know how to go deep on how work gets done, interview customers, and surface hidden assumptions and opportunities
  • Metrics and ROI thinking: you connect work to data and business outcomes and can tell that story to executives and sales
